The AI Project Assistant connects to and indexes a wide array of data for each project:

  • Project Management Systems: We index tickets (issues), including their descriptions, comments, status, labels etc.
  • Documentation & Wikis: All project wiki pages and technical documentation (like markdown files) are processed.
  • Collaboration Platforms: We index messages from client-facing channels in messenger apps.
  • Document Imports: We can parse and index text-based files, including PDFs. This is invaluable for importing legacy project histories or external supplier documentation, like an ERP's API guide.

Flexible Access Channels

We make it accessible through the platforms our teams and clients already use.

In-Messenger Chat: For us, offering it as a Slack App was the most convenient first step. This is currently the primary access point.

  • Private Chat: You can have a private, 1-on-1 conversation with the bot. In this mode, it replies automatically and keeps a "memory" of the thread, which lets you ask follow-up questions naturally.
  • Shared Channels: The bot can be added to a shared client channel. To avoid unwanted noise, it will only respond when it's explicitly tagged or called with a slash command. This makes its answers visible to the whole team, including the client.
